VariCel VXLS employs a highly uniform and durable media that helps resist tearing, abrasion, and handling damage. The gradient density construction offers low resistance to air airflow and higher dust holding capacity than competing grades of synthetic media. The media is heat-set during the pleating process, resulting in V-shaped pleats in a self-supported media pack. The combination of this media and the V-bank design creates a filter with very low initial and average operating resistance which saves energy and lowers overall cost of operation.
Durable Construction
The header and cell sides provide a sturdy construction that resists damage during shipping, handling, and operation. Constructed of plastic, the VariCel VXLS filter is fully incinerable and rust free. The VariCel VXLS filter delivers high-efficiency filtration, up to MERV 15, in systems with difficult operating conditions, such as turbulent airflow, high humidity and even intermittent direct contact with moisture.
