Varicel XL Series

VariCel XL filters are self-supporting, rigid filters with dual-density filter media. VariCel is available in three efficiency levels: MERV 14, MERV 13, and MERV 11. These filters come in depths of 6” and 12”, and an antimicrobial media option is also available. The unique dual-density media that the VariCel filter features is made with two layers of fiberglass: coarser fibers on the air inlet side and finer fibers on the back. This dual-density design allows dirt particles to be trapped throughout the entire depth of the filter, fully utilizing the filter media. The high dust holding capacity (DHC) extends the filter’s lifespan, minimizing operating costs. It also provides 40% more filter media than the VariCel SH.
